SENER has completed projects in high densitypolyethylene, polypropylene, polybutenes, polycarbonates, polyurethane, polystyrene, synthetic fibers, and acrylic emulsions for clients such as Repsol, DOW Chemical, YPF, GE Plastics (now SABIC), and Montefibre Hispania.
One notable project, given its size and the complexity of the units, is the EPCM contract for the plants developed for GE Plastics (now SABIC) in Murcia (Spain). SENER participated in both LEXAN-I and LEXAN-II, and in ULTEM, a prime technological example and one of the world’s most complex in terms of materials and equipment in latest generation plastics plants.
