Fuel storage terminals

SENER develops integrated projects for fuel storage terminals, in addition to the associated oil tanker docking terminals and port-refinery interconnections.

These installations represent a key element within the energy industry, as they allow producers to adapt to fluctuations in energy demand and provide flexibility in refinery operation by ensuring that the product is kept under optimal conditions.

Past SENER projects include port facilities for loading and unloading petroleum products at the BP OIL refinery in Castellón (Spain), and the maritime terminal at Tuxpan in Mexico, where SENER was responsible for the five storage tanks.
