Compression station La Laguna, La Loma, Durango, Mexico.

SENER is reponsable of the engineering, procurement, construction and start-up of the  Natural Gas Compression Plant.

Two SIEMENS STG 400 Turbo Compressor Units were installed to handle up to 1320 million cubic feet per day and a maximum pressure of 1100 psi, refrigerated by dedicated Aero refrigerators for each Turbo Compressor.

The extent of the Project includes:

  • Buildings
  • Roadways
  • Distributed Control System (DCS) – Gas and Fire and Emergency Shutdown
  • All of BOP
  • A 1500 kw diesel electricity generation system
  • The whole electrical installation at medium and low tension

Project included in the Natural Gas Transport System owned by the FERMACA group, the main Mexican operator, operating this trunk system for the import and distribution of natural gas from the United States across the centre of Mexico: El Paso (USA) – Chihuahua – El Encino – La Laguna – Aguas Calientes – Guadalajara – Villa de Reyes.
