LNG regassification plant at Sagunto, Valencia, Spain.
This new LNG regasification terminal is located in Sagunto (Valencia). It receives liquefied natural gas from the liquefaction plant at Damietta (Egypt) among others, and connects to the national network of gas pipelines.
The reception terminal complies with all regulations and standards such as EN-1473 and NFPA-59A, guaranteeing operational and environmental safety. Special attention has been paid to the impact that the zone’s seismic rating (OBE 0.07/SSE 0.14) has on the design and building of the facilities; strict environmental measures have been taken as well.
The plant, with an initial capacity of 6.8 bcm/year, has all the infrastructure required for unloading methane tankers, storage, regasification of LNG and consignment of natural gas to the network, and also has a tanker-truck loading facility.
Increase to 4th of Sagunto’s regasification plant and increase of the emission capacity to 2,400,000 Nm3/h.
